Administrative Assistant to Westmoreland Diversity Coalition (WDC)

Summary

The Administrative Assistant (AA) to the WDC is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient organization, coordination, and distribution of information to the officers and members. The AA will communicate via phone and email ensuring that all administrative and program-related tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain membership database
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Assist with arrangements and coordination of special events
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Collect and distribute mail
  • Produce and distribute correspondence
  • Assist in the distribution of information and reports
  • Maintain and distribute quarterly newsletter
  • Liaison to Treasurer and Secretary
  • Schedule and attend all board Meetings either in person or virtual

Requirements

  • Proven administrative experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Must have transportation

Flexible Schedule – 20 hours per week
